Ayesha Community Education

About ACE

A community-rooted charity with a longstanding focus on education, opportunity, faith, harmony and service.

Who we are

Ayesha Community Education (ACE) was established to provide educational, community and recreational opportunities for children, young people and adults in North West London.

Education has always been central to ACE's work, alongside the relief of financial hardship, the advancement of Islam, religious harmony and wider community participation.

Our longstanding areas of work

  • Education for children, young people and adults
  • Supplementary and faith-based education
  • Youth and recreational activities
  • Citizenship and leadership development
  • Interfaith and community-cohesion work
  • Support for local families and community participation

Our approach

ACE's history reflects a practical approach to community service: identifying educational and social needs, creating opportunities, working with families and volunteers, and engaging with other local organisations where this could benefit the wider community.

Over the years, this approach enabled ACE to develop from a small educational initiative into an organisation providing a broad range of services and activities.

A community-rooted organisation

ACE's leadership and trustee body also took an active role in educational, interfaith, neighbourhood and strategic community organisations, helping to connect the organisation with wider issues affecting local residents.
